Sinusitis

Homoeopathy in sinusitis

Sinusitis is an inflammation or infection of the air pockets on either side of and behind the nose. Certain individuals have the idiosyncracy to be affected by bacteria, viruses and certain allergens and develop sinusitis.

Some of the common symptoms associated with sinusitis are:

  1. On and off attacks of runny nose
  2. Blockage of nostrils
  3. Post nasal drip
  4. Stuffiness, or pressure around the nose
  5. Headache
  6. A decreased sense of smell, and, at times also
  7. fullness of the ears

Some of the children with chronic sinusitis can also have adenoidal or tonsillar enlargement and nasal polyps. Deviation of nasal septum, too, is common in such cases.

Not a single child under my care has ever had to go to a surgeon by the grace of Allah. Success rate in adolescents is over 90% but persons above 30 respond very slowly and success rate is very low.
