Care of PCOS

A female patient, age 25, unmarried, consulted on June 16, 2012 for semi-lateral left-sided headaches and PCOS.

Her menses were regular but she took a course of Daine-35 tablets to remove unwanted hair. The medicine did not remove the unwanted hair instead, as a side effect, her menses started to appear twice a month.

After cessation of menses, thread-like shreds in urine

Menses flow more during the day than at night

Urine contains threads during mesnes

Menses were heavy and clotted in the past and flowed more during days

She is a warm-blooded, thirstless person with warts on different parts of the body, burning foodpipe after oily foods, perspiration face and upper lips

Left-sided headache – once a week – moves to eyes causing heaviness, Sunlight, noise, light and tension aggravate the headache

Left temporal headache – moves to left eye – lasting for 12-14 hours better after sleep

Headache – semilateral – better rubbing the head with oil – better tight bandaging worse stress – mostly leftsided – twice a week

Pressing pain

Disturbed or insufficient sleep seems to be its cause
