Selection from Dr. Fakir’s Cases

Male patient aged 25, (File ref: 0195/17), a thin, but active fellow, consulted on November 13, 2017 for urethral stricture. (Homeopathy in urethral stricture)

MCUG and Urethrogram dated 07-11-2017 showed:

Short segment of mucosal irregularity and narrowing involving bulbomembranous junction

Contrast passed into the posterior urethra and bladder. Bladder mildly thick walled with few small diverticuli

No vesicoureteric reflux noted bilaterally

On micturition, redemonstration of short segments of mucosal irregularity and narrowoing of bulbomembranous junction. Posterior urethra is dilated due to partial stricture. Poor urinary stream

Significant residual post void volume noted

Partially obstructing stricture at bulbomembranous junction

Urine totally obstructed a year back, diagnosed as UTI, was treated with antibiotics and drips

Remained well for 4 months – then slow stream and burning

The patient does not go alone anywhere, bites nails, is chilly, does not drink cold water, has excrescences, nails and hair grow very quickly, particularly nails

In the past, the patient had a skin disease at the age of 12 years. Also had renal calculus, treated through Hikmat

There was a strong diabetes history on the maternal side. Sister had renal failure and mother HBP

Presenting:

Slow passage, has to strain, thin stream (Improved – November 30) (No further improvement, January 2, 2018, as far straining is concerned, normal stream now)

Slight urinary burning (increased initial 2-3 days after Med. Has disappeared since and now only feels when drinks less) (Removed, Jan 2, alhamdolillah)

Pain bladder (Removed – alhamdolillah – November 30)

Inability to empty bladder in one go (No change – November 30) (Removed – January 2, alhamdolillah)

Urinary flow starts, stops and restarts (Removed, alhamdolillah, Jan 2)

Medorrhinum 1M/1

After eight days:

Clematis 30 – four times a day

Comments:

During the one and a half months, the patient had generally improved, gained about 2.3 kg in weight, which was a good indication, over this period, most of his troubling symptoms had greatly improved as shown in the red and green fonts against them.
